The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Bauchi State Governor, Comrade Mukhtar Mohammed Gidado, has extended financial support amounting to one million naira to selected members of the media family in the state.
The beneficiaries include personnel from various media organizations as well as staff of the Ministry of Information and Communication.
According to reports, the gesture is part of Comrade Gidado’s continuous efforts to complement the vision and leadership of his principal, Governor Bala Mohammed, whom he described as his boss and mentor.
The financial support came as a surprise to the recipients, who had neither requested nor anticipated it. It was said to be a personal initiative by the Special Adviser to encourage and support media professionals through his office.
Comrade Mukhtar Gidado is known for his consistent contributions and humanitarian gestures toward individuals and groups, especially within the media sector.
