The Minister of State for Regional Development, Alhaji Uba Maigari Ahmadu, has handed over a newly constructed Mega School in Dungal, Bauchi State, built by the North-East Development Commission, to the Bauchi State Government.

The school, located in Bauchi Local Government Area, has 48 classrooms, staff quarters, administrative offices and other facilities, and is aimed at improving access to education and reducing the number of out-of-school children in the state.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Minister said the project aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and expressed confidence that the Bauchi State Government would ensure proper management of the facility.

The Minister also handed over a fully equipped Triage Medical Emergency Complex at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, Bauchi.

The facility includes a triage hall, resuscitation room, wards, laboratories and isolation units, designed to strengthen emergency healthcare delivery.

Receiving the facilities on behalf of the state government, Deputy Governor Auwal Mohammed Jatau commended the Federal Government and the NEDC for supporting education and healthcare development in Bauchi State.
